Hey there, thank you so much for coming to have a look at my very own part of the internet – Blogging By Soph. My name is Sophie or Soph…or Flamingo – a nick name which I acquired because I spend my whole life standing on one leg! I am 23 years old and I live along the South Coast in the UK.

Alongside blogging, I work full time in the security sector [I wish it was more exciting than it sounds], I am also doing a degree in Human Resources, Law and Psychology.  I also coach gymnastics, play netball AND I am involved with waterpolo – so quite busy.

I started blogging in 2012 when my Dad ended his life which you can read more about here, and since then I have not looked back. albeit running a number of different blogs along the way.  NOW, I cannot stop blogging. It really is the most exhilarating obsession. I think I have finally found my permanent home.

Blogging by Soph started as a place for me to share my graphic design and illustrations, however has since moved to a place where I can talk about  mental health, blogging tips and tricks and other lifestyle related things. I hope that one day I can bring but the more creative side.

For enquiries, questions and everything else in-between please feel free to send me an email and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
