The Blogging App That Will Change Your Life!

Er, hello.

It has been a while hasn’t it [and technically I’m 8 days premature – oops].

But, this couldn’t wait. I just HAVE to tell you about the website/app that has literally changed not only my blogging life but also my actual life. Like I am actually obsessed [well done for the ‘propa‘ English Soph!]

Trello – the literal QUEEN of Apps.

Taken from:

I first discovered Trello after watching the Zoella Instagram story when Danielle did the Tuesday Takeover. When I first saw all the different cards [bare with] I needed to know what it was, not least giving me a FABBY days of the year idea for Instagram.

So what is Trello, I hear you ask?

If I say to-do list organiser, it doesn’t really do it justice because Trello is far better than that. But essentially, that is the premise of it [if you will]. Their meta description probably sums it up MUCH better – ‘Infinitely flexible. Incredibly easy to use. Great mobile apps. It’s free. Trello keeps track of everything, from the big picture to the minute details.’

DO you like writing lots of different lists?

…and by lists I mean, do you make a list of things you need to do on your blog, and then have a list emails to reply to? But also a list of future blog idea, or important dates that you need to remember? That is just in blogging, I have so many lists, food shopping, birthdays, things I need to do at work, things I need to do for my degree. The list [get it?] is endless.

Now, I can have everything in one place, organised to the literal T. But that is just the free version, there is a paid version which is £9.99 per month (paid annually) or £12.50 per month which provides you with so many other features which, LET ME TELL YOU, are incredible. Deadlines, Calendar integration, Mail Chimp integration, social media stats – you can literally include it all into one place. I separate my different types of list between boards. I have a blogging board, a work board and a university board. Then within each of those boards, my lists are separated by cards.

Give it a go!

Seriously, you have to try it! I do use it mostly on my laptop, but there is also an app which is perfect for ideas on the go. I am so excited to start looking into what else Trello can do, because I genuinely think it will transform blogging. ESPECIALLY, if you like to have your fingers in multiple pies…

If you give it a go, let me know what you think about it!

I had downloaded this before you told me about it, but hadn’t looked at it until you mentioned it! I’ve just made a start on my Blogmas board, and I am SO excited to use this! It really is a perfect organisation app.

After reading this post, I realize how primitive I am! I have this excel sheet where I keep a list of the categories I blog about and all the blog ideas under each category! I am the typical 90s child! I am gonna give this a try!
